Frappe Technologies Pvt. Ltd. created ERPNext, a free and open-source integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that is based on the MariaDB database system and uses Frappe, a server-side framework written in Python.
Manufacturers, distributors, and service providers all utilize ERPNext, a general-purpose ERP program. It consists of modules for accounting, CRM, sales, buying, websites, e-commerce, point-of-sale, manufacturing, warehousing, project management, inventory, and services. It also includes domain-specific modules for industries including non-profits, agriculture, and the medical field.
ERPNext functions similarly to Openbravo, Tryton, and Odoo and is a competitor to NetSuite and QAD. ERPNext was listed by Gartner as a pacesetter on the ERP FrontRunners List.
